So yeah, I read HArry Potter, and the books were okay and all, but I just REALLY draw issues with some of the villans. Ok, one in perticular. BELLATRIX LESTRANGE.
I mean, she kills my faverite Characters!!! She killed Dobby, basically the most likable person in the whole series!! And Sirius Black, who aside from being pretty cool even though he was a creep convict, was also kinda hot, and he meant the world to Harry i mean he was the closest he had to a Family!!!!! I mean seriusly!!
AND Bellatrix killed Tonks, another epiclly awesome person who i actually really liked! I mean, Dobby, Tonks, and Sirius?! !WTF THATS JUST EVIL!!!!!!!
And then she also kills Lupin, Tonks husband, and that’s just plain mean, even though he wasnt as epiclly awesome as Dobby Tonks and Sirius.
Also, in the DH movie, she tortures Scabior the HOTTTTTTT Snatcher guy! I mean he was like REALLY hot, AND he totally helped her out because he Snatched Harry, Ron, and Hermione, and brought them 2 her, but she STILL tortures him!!!! THATS NOT COOL OK?!?!?!?!?!?!?! And Scabior was FREAKING HOT! Torture of hotties is NOT GOOD AT ALL!!

Bellatrix is supposed to be a horrid person! She hated them all, that’s why she killed them. Sirius was disowned and a blood traitor, she didn’t care that they were cousins. Tonks was the daughter of her blood traitor sister. She didn’t kill Lupin though. Dolhov, I believe, killed him.

Remus wanted his friends to be safe, but they still risked themselves for him. and imagine how he must’ve felt that night on Halloween. having lost James, Lily and peter (who they all had still believed not a traitor) and having found out his other best friend had betrayed them all (thought it wasn’t true) he lost a lot that night, but he stayed caring and protective of everyone. he even refused Nymphadora because he didn’t want to put her in danger, but he knew he loved her deeply. I think that’s enough ranting about Remus’s awesomeness.

Bellatrix and those other Death Eaters were helped by Voldemort and the dementors, whom were already out of the Ministries control and in Voldemorts. and again, not love, obsession. she probably didn’t even love Lestrange. maybe it was an arrange marriage, to perserve pure-blood families, though they never had kids.

Helena Bonham Carter is the best actress ever. she brought Bellatrix to life. while Jo wanted everyone to hate Bella, which they did. as soon as Helena jumped on the set, I immediately loved Bellatrix with each new movie. Helena is simply amazing, and brilliant.
Molly has always been a caring, loving, motherly woman. she is always so sweet and amazing. Killing Bellatrix was a huge step for her. Shame Nev wasn’t able to do it. But I guess it’s fine for Molly to do it. I mean Bellatrix had just tried to kill Ginevra, Molly’s youngest child and only daughter. luckily, Gin blocked it just in time.
I honestly think they should have added the dialog in that scene. it would’ve made it more intense.
Helena is a brilliant actor. playing one evil character doesn’t change that. especially not when she played the character marvelously.

Oh well, I liked Bellatrix even before watching movies. She is at least 20% cooler than any other character in the whole series! She is insane, and some of my friends say that she is making fun of mentally disabled people, but I don’t feel made fun of because of her.
Hello? Bellatrix is a VILLAIN. Villains are supposed to be cruel, horrible and whatever. There is nothing scary in being bald, many people in my family are bald (my dad, my half-uncle, my grandpa, several cousins…), and only my half-uncle looks quite scary (because he wants to; he is a military officer after all).
Bellatrix didn’t escape Azkaban on her own; she was helped, and she escaped along with nine other Death Eaters (including the Lestrange brothers). If she teaches that escaping jail is ok, then Sirius teaches it too (or even more, because he escaped BY HIMSELF!). And Sirius is a good character. It’s okay for a villain to do bad things. For good characters it’s not. Thus, Bellatrix is a better character in her role than Sirius or Mundungus (good character and a thief?!)
Wearing torn clothes is also a fashion of a kind. Hippies wore them too! Wearing torn, mismatched, or sometimes dirty clothes is just a sign of not caring about your appearance.
No real people torture people like this? Oh well, WW2 and communist times in Poland and (even more) Soviet Union proved that people are pretty capable of torturing.
There is, of course, little evidence whether Bella and Roddy loved each other; probably, their marriage was purely arranged and loveless, but there are some signs that they were at least friendly to each other (for example, they often fight together, in the DoM and in the battle of Seven Potters). We actually never see how they act towards each other in private, while we do know, for example, how Narcissa feels towards Lucius. Every time we see the Lestranges, they are arm-in-arm, so it’s not impossible that they did love each other (at least before Azkaban – fourteen years in prison could have sucked their love out).
Killing Dobby? Duh. Once again, BELLATRIX IS A VILLAIN. Villains are supposed to kill the good guys, mostly the less important ones, and come on, Dobby was by no means a main character. Also Sirius would have lived if he had obeyed Dumbledore. IT WAS A BATTLE. People die at battles and this is pretty normal. Would you blame a soldier for killing his enemy? And this enemy was someone’s son, maybe someone’s brother, husband, father. Notice that when she appeared again, she looked much better, her clothes and face clean, her hair tidier (curly locks aren’t easy to keep truly tidy!).

But expressing it this way (with no attention paid to spelling, grammar or punctuation) makes it sound like written by a primary school student. And no, I am not British. A good way to show this is via a song so have you heard the song “Pumped Up Kicks” by Foster the People? It’s about a boy named Robert Hawkins that went insane one day and killed. That IS real. Bellatrix is SUPPOSED to be horrible!!!! SHE’S A VILLAIN!!! She’s the most loyal of Voldemort’s followers! And, unlike Twilight’s Victoria, James and the Volturi (yes, I’m a Potterhead who read the twilight books AND saw the movies) she was supposed to kill people, for JK’s idea was that people would understand the consequences of wars. In the book, the most blameless and sweet creature (dobby) and Harry’s hero (sirius), together with many others who died, like Fred Weasley, Tonks and Lupin, are killed to show that a war can affect all kinds of people.
By the way, I forgot to mention that she is not in love with Voldemort as a person, she’s in love with his evil mind and deeds. Just FYI.

Bellatrix is awesome!!! I also do like Nymphadora, and Sirius as well, but it’s supposed to be sad because Harry was close to them and many people lose someone in their lifetime. I have been pretty lucky because I have a good family and have not lost anyone, but I have friends who have lost many people and don’t even have a family to support them, so I am always there to comfort them, at least they have someone to turn to. Bellatrix did not have a simple lifestyle. She is Sirius Black’s cousin and Sirius mentioned in the book that the Black family was a very strict pure blooded family and Bellatrix grew up in that strict environment, being ordered to marry Rodolphus Lestrange to keep the bloodline pure. Bellatrix is mentally unstable and she is insane. I personally think it is really sad that she shows no emotions and enjoys torture for fun, I feel sorry for her that she would never be able to open her heart, but its because she is villain, you are supposed to hate that character but still feel some sort of feeling for that villain because there is a reason to why they are. The poor death eater works so hard to prove her loyalty to the Dark Lord, she waited for many years in Azkaban and rotted. Of course she looked like a mess when she escaped; Azkaban is not a happening place. I am going to say this nicely but if you do not like Harry Potter or Bellatrix, why are you complaining about it and wasting your own time, but our time as well. Bellatrix was mean to be insane, you idiot! She suppose to be beautiful (before Azkaban) and insane, because of fact, that her accentors mostly married bettween themselves (brother with sisters or cousins) to keep their line pure. That’s also reason why she married Rodolphus even if she didn’t love him at all. This was the way how it usually worked centuries ago in rich and aristocratic families and that’s the main reason for so many illnesses and insanity bettween them. Bella was simply just “damaged” by her own family long before she was born just to “keep pure blood line” in Noble family of Blacks. She was pure evil character, she didn’t need to speak about it wherever she went, she just made her name by her acts (mostly killing). She was also very powerfull witch and had her own dreams and priorities and she was loyal to Dark Lord no matter what, she spent years in Azkaban, because she simply refuse to give up what she believed for and that’s something really amazing even of it’s not good. Everything is not just black or white, even evil people could have bright or respectful side. And in this Worl aren’t just good people at all, in fact there are sooooo many people like her, maybe worse. And they will be still, long after you won’t, you know why? Because unlike in HP, in real world these “monsters” usually won’t die or end up in prison, they just win. That’s a life and that’s why is HP so awesome, because even if it’s fantasy, it’s so real that it hurts. Wow this post almost made me puke. Forst off you grammar and ability to spell is HORRIBLE! It scared me. And this ISNT TWILIGHT so the characters are not based on “how hot” they are. So they can be tortured if they so please. Bellatrix is a very intracately woven character who is very complex and interesting, and just because your immature and ignorant mind cannot understand that, does not make her horrible. Yes, she does enjoy torturing and killing. But then again so does your average homicidal maniac. There are people like her in the world who recieve joy from other’s suffering. And honestly i just can’t resist throwing this in there i think Bellatrix was “extremely hot” and is my (I’m quoting your spelling here) “faverite” character!
1. Bellatrix only married Rodulphus because he was a pure-blood and she was too. As a pure-blood supremacist she is expected to make a respectable, pure-blood marriage. It doesn’t matter if she loves him or not.
2. Tom Riddle (Lord Voldemort) was attractive in the 2nd movie (Which showed him as his 16 year old self) and being pretty doesn’t matter. What’s on the inside that counts. (Except with Bellatrix, the worse you are on the inside, the better).
3. She escaped along with other death eaters, because the Dementors revolted against the ministry and joined the Death Eaters as they could provide them with more victims. That’s why they could escape and they would not be captured again by the guards.
4. She’s insane and sadistic. Bellatrix finds it fun. As Dumbledore said “Dear Bellatrix, who likes to play with her food before she eats it” She finds it more enjoyable to torture her victims before simply killing them.
5. She wont have a wand in Azkaban so she can’t fix her clothes. And they look pretty bad because its prison uniform. She won’t be going to Madame Malkins for prison wear.
6. The dress code for Death Eaters is black. It symbolizes evil and death.
I think Bellatrix Lestrange is a brilliant character, evil but brilliant. I honestly think, that if I was faced with Lord Voldemort or Bellatrix, I’d prefer to take Voldemort. Bellatrix has pretty much lost her mind, and loves torturing before killing. At least with Voldemort, I can expect a quick enough death. I think Bellatrix has managed to build up more of a reputation of ruthlessness than any of the Death Eaters or even Lord Voldemort.
She’s been in prison for about FOURTEEN YEARS and they don’t offer new clothes in said prison, a contributing factor to the clothes.
She’s not in love with Voldemort, she’s devoted and extremely loyal to him.

Let me explain how things worked for her to escape:
The guards of the prison are not satisfied with just the prisoners. Good guys tells them that’s all they’ve got. Bad Guy comes and tells them if they join him, he’ll allow them complete freedom. Guards agree and let the prisoners he tells them escape.
See? It’s simple.
And yes real people torture and kill people like that. They are called criminals, serial killers, murderers etc. It’s 100% realistic.
A LOT of people marry without love and for various reasons. An unexpected pregnancy, monetary issues, they need the connections, they wish to be famous.
